8th annual Plant sale fundraiser
Support our community and beautify your yard by shopping at the Twelve Baskets annual plant sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 1. All proceeds will be used to purchase items for the pantry.
NEW this year—we are looking to add some craft vendors to the event. And, we will again be accepting donations of baked goods for sale during the event. For more details, please contact Romona at (269) 679 4543 or via email at czukr@comcast.net.
Here are the items we’ll have for sale:
- Hanging baskets
- Potted plants
- Perennials
- Annuals
- Herbs and veggie Plants
- Yummy, homemade baked goods
Please park in the north parking lot. Payment can be made with cash, credit cards, or a check made out to Twelve Baskets Food Pantry.
Buddy’s pizza dine to donate
We’ve teamed up with Buddy’s Pizza to host a Dine to Donate day from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday, July 1 to benefit Twelve Baskets! The restaurant is located at 5314 S Westnedge.
To participate, dine in or order takeout from Buddy’s Pizza from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and leave a copy of your receipt with a staff person. The restaurant tallies receipts collected during our allotted time and donates 20% of sales to Twelve Baskets. Help us spread the word by inviting family and friends to meet you for dinner!

Thank you to MR Gutter gutter repair service in Vicksburg for naming Twelve Baskets Food Pantry as the beneficiary organization of their 1st Annual MR Gutter Open planned for 1:30 p.m., Saturday, July 13 at the States Golf Course, 20 W Ave E in Vicksburg.

Growlers baseball volunteers
Join us for some good ole summer fun volunteering at a Kalamazoo Growlers baseball game to help raise funds for Twelve Baskets! Volunteers work about a 4-hour shift helping set up, selling concessions and welcoming guests for home games at Mayors’ Riverfront Park. A free meal voucher is provided, and you can watch the hometown team hopefully notch a victory!
We are required to fill all volunteer slots (10-15) for any Growler game dates Twelve Baskets commits to. We have already committed to July 17–register to help below. Watch this page and our Facebook page for announcements about additional opportunities.
Volunteer Uniform: Work appropriate pants or shorts, closed-toed shoes, Growlers will provide organization shirt and hat.
