To lead the fight against hunger in our community by bridging the gap between the need and the excess, while restoring hope, dignity, and self-respect.
Join us the first and third Friday of each month for food distributions from 2:30-5:30 pm if you are in need of food. Our distribution is a drive-thru. This means come with empty trunks, and stay in your vehicles at all times. You will receive meats, bakery, nonperishable food and drink items, produce, and dairy items. Due to the large amount of food that we give out during distribution it is important to only have the max of TWO families per vehicle. We understand there are several people who do not have vehicles and must get a ride, but please limit it to only two families per vehicle.
Picking up of groceries is limited to two times per month per household (address). We serve Portage, Schoolcraft, Vicksburg, and Three Rivers addresses. If you live in a different city than what’s listed, please wait until the last hour of our distribution to come.

Join us for our Saturday distributions if you are in need of food!! We operate a drive-thru type distribution. Please stay in your vehicles and have empty trunks for us to be able to load your groceries into your trunks. We can only fit two families worth of groceries in one vehicle due to all the food we give away. So come prepared! Stay safe and keep us safe too! We distribute meats, nonperishable food items, bakery items, produce, beverages, and dairy items too. We are required to collect information from our clients. You can participate two times per month per household address. Our main distribution area is Portage, Schoolcraft, Three Rivers, and Vicksburg. We are open to all local areas the last hour of each distribution, so if your address is not one of these 4 cities, please come only during the last hour.

GROCERY DISTRIBUTION DAYS
The food pantry is open to verified residents of Portage, Vicksburg, Schoolcraft, Three Rivers, and the Pavilion Estates and Colonial Acres parks, who are served the first two hours of each distribution day. People who live outside our primary service area may pick up groceries during the last hour of each distribution day (please do not arrive early due to limited parking).
1st and 3rd Friday each month
2:30 to 5:30 p.m.
2nd and 4th Saturday each month
10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
5th Friday (Mar. 29, May 31, Aug. 30, Nov. 29)
1 to 2 p.m., perishables only (produce, bread, baked goods)
Does not count toward the twice monthly grocery distribution days allowed.
- ONE family per household address; multiple families in one household must register under one name, only.
- Household may pick up groceries two times each month on the distribution days of their choice (5th week perishable distribution does not count).
- Service is limited to TWO recipients/families per vehicle from different households.
- Drive-thru process. Come with an empty trunk and stay in your vehicle at all times.

Thanks to the generosity of the communities served by the Twelve Baskets Pantry and our volunteers we now have a FREE STORE next to our pantry at 10330 Portage Rd. Our Free Store carries a wide variety of donated clean, gently used clothing, household items, toys, and personal care items available for free to all who are in need.
