Volunteer Coordinator

Twelve Baskets Food Pantry and Free Store is looking for a friendly individual to serve as our Volunteer Coordinator to help us recruit, organize and schedule volunteers. Nancy Brutsche has served in this role for six years and is ready to “retire” (though not go away!). We are looking at online platforms to make it easier for the VC and others to track and communicate with volunteers, which we believe will make the process much more efficient. We are happy to provide more information to interested candidates. Grant writing expertise

Our organization relies on private and public opportunities for grant funding that exist locally and nationally, as well as donations from individuals, businesses, churches and others to operate the pantry and free store. We are in need of people to assist us with identifying and applying for grants in collaboration with the executive director. We welcome anyone with interest and/or expertise in helping with this essential work to get in touch!

PANTRY

We are looking for volunteers willing to work a short shift regularly (2-4 times a month) to ensure we have adequate staffing each day to receive and store deliveries and run distributions:

10 a.m. to noon
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday  Sunday
(pick a day you’re available most weeks)
