Beginning Tuesday, Oct. 22 and only on Tuesdays thereafter, the Free Store is able to accept donations of winter clothing, shoes, toys, housewares, and kitchen wares. To expedite processing (all handled by volunteers), kindly sort clothing into Men’s, Women’s, and Children’s categories, with items clean and folded.
Donations for the Free Store can not be dropped off or accepted at the pantry or during pantry distribution.

about the free store
Thanks to the generosity of the communities served by the Twelve Baskets Pantry and our volunteers we now have a FREE STORE next to our pantry at 10330 Portage Rd. Our Free Store carries a wide variety of donated clean, gently used clothing, household items, toys, and personal care items available for free to all who are in need. Our inventory usually includes:

- Clothing for adults and children, sorted by size
- Footwear
- Jackets and winter clothing, snow pants, gloves, mittens, hats, etc.
- Baby/toddler diapers and wipes
- Kitchen small appliances, dishes, utensils, etc.
- Blankets and sheets
- Toys and games that include all playing pieces
- Over-the-counter medications (sealed, unexpired)
- Adult diapers
- Other items as available, such as female hygiene products, shampoo/conditioner, laundry soap, etc.
SHOPPING HOURS
Tuesdays
9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
2nd and 4th Friday each month
2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
1st and 3rd Saturday each month
9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
VOLUNTEER
We are always in need of volunteers to help us run the Free Store. We have many volunteer opportunities (main ones listed below) and flexibility to fit your schedule.
