The food pantry is open to residents of Southwest Michigan. To manage traffic and lining up cars on distribution days, residents from Portage, Vicksburg, Schoolcraft, and Three Rivers are served the first two hours of each distribution day. Residents from surrounding communities may line up to pick up groceries beginning at 4:15 pm on Friday distributions and 11:45 am on Saturday distributions. Please do not arrive late; we are unable to serve clients after the end times stated on our website: https://twelve-baskets.org/index.php/get-food/
The parking lot opens one hour prior to the grocery distribution start times listed below. LINEUP PROCEDURE
Please note that it is not necessary to come early to lineup. We plan distribution so that families receive the about same amount of groceries no matter what time they come through the line.
CHECK CALENDAR for service dates–held on alternating Fridays and Saturdays with different service hours!
I know everyone volunteering is busy. I was wondering if you evered delivered? If not , I totally understand.
We just announced a program to deliver one time per month to Kalmazoo County seniors 60 and older who are homebound. Might you be eligible?
That’s awesome! But unfortunately no it doesn’t apply to me. Thank you for responding. I apologize for the laps in my response. 12 baskets is the most wonderful, and helpful food distribution out there. Not just bc of the quality of food but bc of ur volunteers. Thank you for all that you do.
